As shown in the chart, gold has been rising slowly since the open. The target is near 4060; the question is whether buyers can push the price to break through and hold above 4080.
Scenario 1: If the price breaks through and holds above the 4080 short-term resistance level, we will see a new wave of upward movement. The next resistance levels are 4100–4120.
Scenario 2: If sellers step in near 4080, you could consider a light short position.
