I've been in the hospital, and these past days have made me realize how lonely life can feel. Lying here after my surgery, I couldn't help but wish I had someone I could call my wife—someone to hold my hand, encourage me, and simply be by my side. It's not the pain that hurts the most; it's facing moments like this without the person you love beside you. Still, I believe I'll be fine.
