📊 NordFX Education: Bid, Ask and the Chart - One Price Doesn't Tell the Whole Story Ever wondered why your stop was triggered when the chart seemed not to touch it? 👀 The answer may be hiding in the quote. Imagine EUR/USD shows: 🔵 Bid: 1.1580 🔴 Ask: 1.1582 The key rule: 🟢 BUY at Ask - 1.1582 🔴 SELL at Bid - 1.1580 On MetaTrader, OTC forex charts are normally built from Bid prices. The Ask exists at the same time, but you may not see it unless the Ask price line is enabled. That means: 📈 A long opens at Ask and closes at Bid 📉 A short opens at Bid and closes at Ask So a short position's stop can be reached by the Ask, even when the visible Bid candle appears not to have touched that level. 🎯 ⚡ This distinction becomes particularly important in fast markets. With Middle East tensions pushing Brent above $114 and global risk sentiment under pressure, prices can move sharply and quotes can change quickly. 💡 Trader's rule: Don't confuse the visible candle with the complete quote. Know which price you are looking at and which price actually triggers your trade. 👉 Trade the markets with NordFX: https://my.nordfx.com/en/regis... #NordFX #TradingEducation #Forex #BidAsk #MetaTrader #TradingTips

₿ 21 Million Bitcoin? The Real Number You Can Actually Buy Is Much Smaller Bitcoin is famous for its 21 million coin limit. But that number can be misleading. 👀 ⛏️ Some Bitcoin has not been mined yet. 🔐 Some is held for years and rarely moves. 🕳️ Some has probably been lost forever. 📉 And only a fraction may actually be available to the market at any given moment. That creates an important distinction: maximum supply ≠ circulating supply ≠ liquid supply. Why does it matter? Because Bitcoin’s price is not determined by 21 million coins sitting neatly on a shelf. It is shaped by the BTC that buyers and sellers are actually willing and able to trade. ⚖️🔥 So how much Bitcoin is really out there - and how much can realistically reach the market? 📖 NordFX explains the numbers behind Bitcoin scarcity: https://nordfx.com/useful-arti...

💱 NordFX: Why FX Takes Time to Reach Your Shopping Basket A currency moves today. Prices in the shops tomorrow? Not necessarily. 🛒⏳ The path usually looks more like this: 💱 FX move → import costs → company margins → consumer prices Why the delay? 🛡️ Importers may hedge currency exposure months ahead. 💵 Many international contracts are invoiced in US dollars, reducing the immediate impact of some FX moves. 🏭 Companies can absorb higher costs in their margins before passing them on to customers. 📦 Existing inventories may have been bought at older prices. This matters now. US import prices jumped 0.7% m/m and 7.0% y/y in August, while prices excluding food and fuels rose 5.6% y/y. September CPI has since accelerated to 3.7% y/y, as energy costs and geopolitical tensions keep inflation firmly in focus. 🔥🛢️ 🇺🇸 Tomorrow at 08:30 ET, September US import prices arrive. Don't just watch the headline. 👀 Watch whether price pressure is spreading beyond energy into industrial supplies, capital goods and consumer goods. ⚡ FX reacts in seconds. Inflation can take months to catch up. 👉 Explore the markets with NordFX: https://my.nordfx.com/en/regis...
