📈 Asia-Pacific Markets
Indices across the Asia-Pacific region are mostly higher this morning. 🇨🇳 Chinese indices are up between 1.10% and 1.90%, while Japan’s Nikkei 225 is down 1.10% at 38,750 points. Singapore's SG20cash futures are showing a gain of 0.65%.
📉 US Markets Recap
US indices closed lower, with moderate declines across the board. The 🇺🇸 US500 index dipped below the 6,000-point mark, while the US2000 small-cap index faced the largest sell-off.
🛑 Reversal in the "Trump Trade"
The US stock market saw noticeable sell-offs, especially in assets previously benefiting from the Trump Trade. Notably, Tesla (TSLA.US) shares, which had surged by about 30% post-election, dropped over 6%, while Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT.US) declined nearly 9%.

🇦🇺 Australia's Q3 Wage Growth
Australia’s wage growth slowed in Q3 2024, pointing to eased inflation pressures and raising hopes for an interest rate cut in Q1 2025. The wage price index rose 3.5% year-on-year, below last quarter's 4.1% and economists' estimates of 3.6%.
🇯🇵 Japan’s PPI
Japan’s producer price index (PPI) increased by 3.4% year-on-year in October, slightly above expectations, with a 0.2% rise on a monthly basis.
