U.S. crude oil WTI futures prices closed higher on Tuesday (September 24).
Oil prices have been supported by stimulus measures in China, escalating conflict in the Middle East that could hit supplies in the region, and another hurricane threatening U.S. crude production.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery rose $1.19, or 1.69%, to settle at $71.56 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
