Is Forex a Difficult Market for Beginners?

So, do you sometimes find yourself asking the question whether forex trading is easy or difficult? For new traders or beginners which is new to forex trading, this is one of the common question they will ask about.

Personal opinion based on my experience, difficult is relative in this context. Success in Forex is dependent on several factors :

• Your ability to adapt to market conditions
• Your ability to interpret information in different forms (numbers, candlesticks, indicators (depending on your strategy),
• Your level of patience
• Your ability to follow a strict set of rules

Given, this list isn't particularly long, and neither are these the most important factors, but this list could go on and on and I'm sure several successful traders can agree with me. My point being, how hard you want to make trading is completely dependent on yourself. Your trading system could be incredibly simple, or it could be trading with the confluence of 7-8 indicators. You'll find tons and tons of methods to trade out there, support and resistance, trendlines, algos, indicators, supply / demand, even naked trading. It's on you to find what suits you, in your own time.

How hard someone else finds trading, how much money they've lost before getting successful, how long they've taken to find success. These factors will have no impact on your trading. Yes, you have obvious ways to reduce all of these. Too hard? Find a simpler system; Worried about taking too long? Find a group to trade with / mentor; Worried about losing too much money? Trade demo until you're consistent, then start with a small account of real money and scale it til you have sufficient money / find investors who let you trade with large capital (investors / prop firms). My point being, you'll never find a set answer to "is it difficult", and even if you do, it won't make any impact on your actual trading. So put your head down, gather all the info you can / need, read books, form a system / trading plan, follow the rules of your system / plan and find your success. Yes the way I've put this makes it sound simple, but that's what's helped me form my system...simplicity. Good luck!
