There was a sharp sold off of currencies and equities as Covid cases spike up in Europe, fueling fear of a second wave. This could exert pressure on Euro and GBP. These two currencies fell yesterday and could potentially hit 1.15 (EUR/USD) and 1.25 (GBP/USD).
As per the Telegraph report, UK PM Johnson could be making an announcement on Tuesday, encouraging people to work from home.
