On Tuesday, there was limited influential economic data during US market session. Fed Chairman Powell did not mention monetary policy in his public speak during stress testing review. The US dollar index was relatively stable. The investors will keep their eye on his second speech tonight about Semi-annual Monetary Policy Report before the House Financial Services Committee.
Due to the unexpected economic situation and Brexit, GBPUSD continued to fall to a low level since March 2017, closed at 1.2460.
Chinese CPI will be released today, and the British GDP and manufacturing production data will be released. Canadian quarterly central bank interest rate decision and monetary policy will be released too.
